I did this recording a little different. I usually record two guitar tacks and 2 bass tracks. The tracks are usually panned one guitar and bass 80% to the right, and the other guitar and bass track panned 80% to the left. For this recording I decided to just record one guitar and one bass track. The tone is slightly different from the left and right channel, but the recording of the guitar and bass is mono.
