Just finished my entry for SWOLA 68.  I really need to post about some running stuff soon.  I have a run coming up this April that I'm pretty excited about.

It was interesting to see what my first idea was for this recording, and what it eventually turned into.

SWOLA 66

Finished SWOLA 66 the other day.  I really liked the drums on this one.  I did 4 guitar tracks, 2 using a whammy effect and 2 using a wah pedal. I also recorded 2 bass tracks.  Most of the heaviness of the tone is from the bass guitar.

Acoustic 001

I've never made it a point to write an acoustic song before.  I've written a lot of songs on this guitar, but they were always intended to be played on my electric guitars with a lot of distortion.  I've been writing a lot again... a lot of heavier music, and I decided I need to make it a point to write something different than what I normally do.  I started putting this song together a few weeks ago.  I actually have lyrics completely written for it, but I know for a fact that I am not a singer so I'm not going to try to record myself doing any type of singing... maybe some yelling, but not any real singing.
